In Paid Partnership with Hinge

Like many modern love stories, ours began on Hinge—an app “designed to be deleted”. And while it took a little time (and a few raised eyebrows), that’s exactly what happened.

Mason's first impression of Rachel was that she was a little guarded, maybe even a bit stand-offish. But it didn’t take long for him to see how intelligent, funny, and gorgeous she was (he still says that part daily). Rachel’s first thought about Mason? Handsome, clearly took care of himself, seemed very into his family… and possibly an alcoholic. (Spoiler: he wasn’t.)

From those first few dates, they effortlessly began to fit into each other’s lives. Mason even tried yoga—until a now-legendary fall through a window at Rachel’s favorite studio put that short-lived hobby to rest. But that’s just one of many unforgettable moments they’ve shared together.

Rachel fell in love with Mason after seeing the heart behind the bravado. His unwavering support, his level-headedness in stressful times, and his fierce love for the people around him showed her exactly who he was. Mason says he knew Rachel was someone special from day one—though it took him four whole dates to finally kiss her (allegedly out of respect, definitely out of fear). Over time, as he peeled back her layers, he found a loving, driven, and deeply committed partner who inspires him to be better every day.

The proposal happened in Val Thorens, France, overlooking the snow-covered French Alps. Mason was stressed. Rachel was radiant. It was magical—one of the best days of our lives.

They love each other for who they are, and who they are together. Rachel loves that Mason is her rock—strong, steady, and always there, especially when she needs emotional support (or ice cream). Mason loves that Rachel challenges him, supports him, and—perhaps most importantly—doctors him back to health when he is actively dying of the flu.

This is just the beginning of our forever, and we’re so excited to celebrate with you.
